Responsibilities:
Performs basic or applied research of a limited scope, primarily using existing theories and methods.
Assists in the interpretation and publication of results and grants.
Assists in initiating, executing and completing the research and experiments.
Prepares and writes research papers, presentations, grant proposals, etc. Primary responsibility is ensuring that the research is complete.
Performs a variety of tests requiring a high degree of proficiency.
Evaluates experimental results using complex statistical and multivariate analysis.
Qualifications:
Graduate school degree with significant research experience in cell and molecular biology, immunology, asthma or cancer would be considered.
5+ year's research lab experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong ability to interpret data and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays depending upon research needs.
