Material Handler/Forklift Op

Our client, in Watertown SD, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Production and Warehouse Operations Team, supporting manufacturing and assembly lines. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand?eye coordination, and a solid work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift operator

Location: Watertown SD

Pay Range: $19.00

What's the Job?

• Move material throughout the plant using a forklift and/or crane to support production flow
• Stage, package, band, weigh, and prepare materials according to production schedules
• Supply production areas with parts, remove finished skids, and complete tugger routes to refill bins
• Track orders, follow bills of material, and accurately match products with proper packaging
• Perform general housekeeping and miscellaneous support tasks to

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform physical, repetitive work including standing 8–10 hours, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Basic math and computer skills, plus the ability to read tape measures, part numbers, and bills of material
• Strong safety awareness with the ability to identify quality issues and follow detailed instructions
• Forklift and crane license, plus a valid driver’s license (required)
• 0–6 months of experience; mechanical aptitude a plus (on?the?job OSHA training provided)
